Sihai Longwan Ma'er Lake is my favorite place on this trip!

We arrived at Dalongwan Ma'er Lake at 9:30 in the morning when there were not many people, and there was no need to wait in line for the elevator to the viewing platform. It is recommended to enter and first go left to the viewing platform, then slowly walk down the mountain road towards the visitor center. This path is quite steep with many stairs, but you can enjoy the lake view all the way. If you bring children, you can have them look for small animals "hidden" in the trees, making the walk fun and not boring. The whole trip takes about two and a half hours, just enough time to finish and go have lunch.

- Route suggestion: Enter and go left → Viewing platform (elevator) → Walk down towards the visitor center
- Highlights: Few people, no lines, lake views all the way down, kids can look for animals in the trees
- Time reference: About 2.5 hours
- Dining and facilities: No dining inside the scenic area, restrooms only at the visitor center
- Tips: The descent is steep, be careful; bring snacks and water if you have kids
