Clouds Linger Over Guanshan

Clouds linger over the distant peaks of Guanshan, as I traverse a path of wind, snow, and resilience.

Liupan Mountain, located at the border of Ningxia and Gansu, has been a battleground for countless heroes throughout history. As I set foot on the winding mountain trail, the sky grew dim, and mist swirled around me. Dense pine forests surrounded the path, and the air carried the moist scent of soil and mountain grass. Walking along, I couldn't help but recall Mao Zedong's verse: "Atop the high peaks of Liupan Mountain, red flags flutter in the western wind." The land beneath my feet seemed to echo with the whispers of history.

Standing at the summit, gazing at the undulating mountain ranges, with the wind howling fiercely, I felt a profound sense of resilience and gravity. The mountains here are neither as graceful as those in the south nor as expansive as those in the northern frontier, but they possess a rugged strength, akin to the character forged by the Loess Plateau. Liupan Mountain taught me that true strength is not loud or ostentatious; it is like the mountain—silently enduring and steadily moving forward.
