As a must-visit city for Three Kingdoms fans, Jingzhou’s rich ancient city charm is perfect for photos! The ancient city walls surrounded by a moat and the Guan Yu cultural sites instantly transport you back in time.

🌟Must-visit attractions:
1️⃣ Jingzhou Ancient City Wall
One of the best-preserved ancient city walls in China. Climb the wall to overlook the entire ancient city. It’s recommended to visit at dusk; the ancient city under the sunset is incredibly atmospheric!

2️⃣ Jingzhou Museum
The museum’s treasure is the Sword of King Fuchai of Wu, along with a large collection of Three Kingdoms period artifacts. Closed on Mondays, no reservation needed.

3️⃣ Guan Yu Shrine
The site where Guan Yu guarded Jingzhou, featuring a statue of Guan Yu and a replica of the Green Dragon Crescent Blade inside. The camphor tree at the entrance is said to be over a thousand years old🌳

4️⃣ Zhang Juzheng Memorial Hall
Exhibits the life and achievements of this Ming Dynasty prime minister. The building is a typical Ming style, a must-see for history lovers📜

5️⃣ Binyang Tower
The highest point in the ancient city. Climb the tower for a panoramic view of the city. Ancient defense facilities are still preserved upstairs, perfect for photos📸

It’s recommended to stay near the ancient city for easy walking access to major attractions. We stayed at the Vienna Hotel, which offers great value and is only a 5-minute walk from the city wall.
