Who would have thought! In Quanzhou, I saw the string puppet show, historically known as "suspended silk puppets." The puppets come to life as the fingertips manipulate the strings, as if they have souls—this is the true charm of intangible cultural heritage! ✨
On stage, the artist’s fingertips fly swiftly, controlling the puppets to raise their hands, turn around, and even perform complex actions. Their expressions are full of spirit, completely mesmerizing! It’s worth noting that this craft was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage lists in 2006. Every performance is a continuation of a thousand-year-old skill.
