Jinyun Mountain Residence must-visit pool with a super fragrant wooden-style sesame pancake experience fully loaded!

As soon as I stepped into the lobby, I was struck by the artistic vibe! The tatami platform paired with a bamboo tea table makes every photo look amazing 📸 The butler was super thoughtful, helping me carry my luggage to the room right upon arrival and even handed me an electronic hand-drawn local map, saving me the trouble of finding attraction guides. The service is truly impeccable~

I have to especially praise the room! Impeccably clean! Even under the bed, there’s not a speck of dust. The bedding is sun-dried, and lying down you can smell the faint scent of sunshine ☀ I absolutely love the wooden style, combined with Chinese calligraphy paintings and ceramic ornaments, warm and elegant. Opening the window, you either see green mountains or the courtyard, waking up every day in such a good mood! Plus, each floor has a common area, perfect for daydreaming or chatting with friends~

The biggest surprise was the QiXi pool! During the day, sunlight sparkles on the water surface, surrounded by white walls and black tiles of traditional Chinese architecture. In the distance are the stunning peaks and waters of Xiandu. Swimming in the pool feels like moving through a landscape painting 🏊‍♀️ After playing, lying on the poolside lounge chair with a cup of tea watching the clouds drift by is just so relaxing! At night, it’s even more amazing—the poolside lights turn on, warm yellow light reflecting in the water, echoing the stars above. Soaking in the water listening to soft music, all fatigue just melts away~

Breakfast is simply divine! The homemade Jinyun sesame pancakes are unbelievably delicious! Crispy outside, tender inside, every bite full of fragrance, even better than those sold outside 👍 The braised bamboo shoots and corn are also excellent, refreshing and not greasy, I always end up stuffed~ Oh, and guests get to choose between local Jinyun yellow tea or hand-ground coffee upon check-in. I chose the yellow tea, which has a strong aroma and pairs perfectly with breakfast!

The location is super convenient! Just a 5-minute walk to various spots in the Xiandu Scenic Area, with must-visit places like Dinghu Peak and Zhutan Mountain nearby. No need to wake up early to catch a bus, so lucky~ Nearby are also attractions like Qianying Birdhouse and Little Red Cliff. Following the map given by the butler makes exploring super smooth!

The owner and hostess are also super nice! The owner is talkative and shares many local stories; the hostess is gentle and capable, managing the guesthouse meticulously. Staying here is not just about resting but also experiencing many cultural activities—morning tea art lessons, afternoon calligraphy, and evening gatherings around the stove. It feels especially healing~
