Lishui Tour | The Three Major Yandang Check-in Spots at Xiandu

Xiandu Scenic Area in Jinyun, Lishui, features an abandoned quarry called Yandang, which has now been given new life. The three Yandang quarries within the Jinyun Xiandu Scenic Area have been carefully transformed into popular check-in spots: Yandang Study, Yandang Theater, and Yandang Playhouse. It is famous for its unique quarry culture.

① Yandang Theater:
The first Yandang has been transformed into a performance space with echoing acoustics.
② Yandang Playhouse:
The second Yandang has been converted into a theater. Sunlight streams in from the tall quarry top, with a quiet pool of water in the center. Standing by the water, you can see a clear reflection. The echoes inside the quarry are melodious, making performances of music or dance here uniquely charming.
③ Yandang Study:
The third Yandang has been turned into a study room. A meeting of sunlight and the scent of books. Looking up, sunlight pours in through a narrow stone crevice. The quarry is very tall, with wooden staircases scattered unevenly on the rock walls. Several platforms house a café, bookshelves, and scattered seats. Different heights and angles offer different views. This is a must-visit spot for tourists, and the entire Yandang Study is perfect for taking photos from various angles, producing stunning shots.
