Hidden gem - Hotel Royal Signature

I recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Signature, and it was a truly pleasant experience from the moment I arrived.

I checked in around 2:00 PM, and the room was ready by 3:00 PM. The front desk staff — I believe his name was Brandon — was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was welcomed with a drink, and he even offered me a special drink as a nice gesture. Before checking in, each of my children received their own special toiletries set, which was a thoughtful touch. One of the staff members also took the time to personally escort us to our room, which I really appreciated.

As it was my birthday, I requested a slice of cake — and the hotel kindly prepared one for me. Even more special, the Guest Experience Manager personally wrote a birthday card, which made me feel truly welcomed and appreciated.

We stayed in the family room, which was very spacious and well-suited for a family with four children. The room had two separate sections, allowing everyone to have their own space. Everything was clean and neatly arranged. The view from the room was stunning, overlooking Menara 118. I also requested a baby cot, and it was provided without any issues. My only minor comment is that the TV channel selection was quite limited — perhaps something the hotel could consider improving.

The swimming pool was pleasant, though not very large. There was a children’s section right next to the adult pool, which made supervising the kids easy. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was not working during our visit. Also, the toilet at the pool area did not have soap, which was a bit inconvenient — I would suggest the hotel consider adding it. On a more positive note, the surau (prayer room) near the pool was spacious, clean, and well-maintained — something quite rare and commendable in a hotel setting.

Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good variety of dishes. I recommend coming early to secure a table, as it can get quite busy.

Would I return? Absolutely. The service, comfort, and thoughtful details made it a memorable stay.
