Chongyang Festival Free Admission at Tiantangzhai

From October 28 to October 30, Anhui Tiantangzhai Scenic Area is launching a warm-hearted Chongyang Festival event to honor the elderly. Seniors aged 60 and above can enter the park for free. The autumn scenery here is at its peak, with fiery red maples, golden ginkgo leaves, clear waterfalls, and the fragrance of chestnuts, creating a moving poetic landscape. This event is specially designed for middle-aged and elderly friends. The scenic area has carefully planned a Chongyang autumn viewing route: At the hour of Chen, take a leisurely walk into the mountains with your elders, ride the scenic shuttle bus through the forest, and watch the “red flames” flash past the windows; at the hour of Si, take priority on the cable car to the main peak, overlooking the mountains covered with waves of red leaves. At the Anhui-Hubei border, if you encounter a sea of clouds flowing over the boundary marker, you can witness the spectacular view of “one foot stepping into two provinces, clouds and maples intertwined.” Tie a blessing rope for your elders, gently fastening the word “health” onto the maple branches; at noon, head to Tiantangzhai Resort Mountain Villa to enjoy firewood stewed chicken with freshly peeled chestnuts in the soup, soft and sweet, followed by Chongyang cake paired with a warm cup of wild chrysanthemum tea, warming both body and heart.
