Xinglong Tropical Garden, located at the foot of Qingmei Mountain in Xinglong Hot Spring Resort, Wanning City, Hainan Province, was established in 1992 and covers 5,800 mu (approximately 1,000 acres). It features a botanical viewing area, a tropical rainforest viewing area, a biological breeding area, a reconstructed tropical rainforest area (with a celebrity tree planting area), a horticultural viewing area, and a forest camping area. Integrating nature, humanities, agronomy, gardening, and environmental ecological protection, it offers a unique blend of tourism, leisure, vacation, and science education, offering a unique blend of tropical rainforest and artificial gardening.

Currently, the garden boasts hundreds of thousands of tropical ornamental plants, including 65 rare and endangered species, 27 of which are listed in the China Red Data Book of Plants. Eight rare and endangered species have been introduced for cultivation, and many endangered plants facing ex situ conservation have been replanted and formed into communities.
