Everyone knows that traveling during the May Day holiday means huge crowds, especially at popular attractions. The classic Jiuzhaigou tour is no exception. That's why I chose a less crowded route - the Jiuzhaigou "vacation" tour!

Entering Jiuzhaigou in spring is like stepping into a world of spilled paint. Wildflowers bloom everywhere - red, pink, and purple - complementing the lush green trees 🌷 I highly recommend this Chengdu-Jiuzhaigou trip with kids!

🏨 Staying at the Tibetan-style wooden hotel - Jiuzhaigou Yiqiu Secret Resort: After a 30-minute drive along winding mountain roads from the foot of the mountain, you'll reach China's smallest administrative village. At an altitude of 3,000m, surrounded by misty clouds and mountains, it feels like a fairyland.

Wild Homestay: A secluded paradise with Chinese-style courtyards, forest coverage, and a yard so large it feels like an estate. It's a rustic mountain retreat built with gray tiles, brick, and wood.

The most delightful surprise of this trip was staying at the Tibetan-style wooden hotel - Jiuzhaigou Yiqiu Secret Resort 🏨 About 30 minutes' drive along winding mountain roads from the base (though the road is winding, it's totally worth it!), it's like entering a secluded paradise.

Upon arrival, you're immersed in rich Tibetan culture. The wooden cabins are rustic yet cozy, with every room detail reflecting Tibetan characteristics - exquisite Thangka paintings and beautiful Tibetan carpets telling ancient stories. Yet the room amenities are modern, with bedding so comfortable you'll want to take it home 🛏️

The hotel service is incredibly thoughtful, with staff as warm as old friends, even helping plan itineraries. Wake up to birdsong in the morning, open the window to fresh air filled with flower fragrance. In the evening, sit in the courtyard watching the mountains turn golden in the sunset while sipping butter tea - life doesn't get better than this.
