The Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area is Y-shaped. Here's how to explore it:
1️⃣ Rize Valley (right branch)
- Five Flower Lake: crystal-clear water reflecting five colors under the sun
- Arrow Bamboo Lake: filming location for Zhang Yimou’s "Hero," with a mirror-like surface
- Pearl Shoal Waterfall: featured in the ending song of "Journey to the West"

2️⃣ Zechawa Valley (left branch)
- Long Lake: the largest lake in Jiuzhaigou
- Five Color Pool: the smallest lake but with the richest colors
Tips: It’s recommended to take the sightseeing bus to the highest point first, then explore downward to save energy and time

3️⃣ Shuzheng Valley (main valley)
- Shuzheng Lakes: 19 connected lakes of various sizes
- Spark Lake: looks like sparkling flames under sunlight
- Nuorilang Waterfall: China’s widest high-altitude travertine waterfall

2. Big temperature difference between morning and night, remember to bring a thick jacket
3. There is only one dining spot inside the park at Nuorilang; it’s advisable to bring some snacks
4. Jiuzhaigou limits daily visitors, so book tickets in advance during peak season
