Near the station is Namsan Hanok Village, where you can see the well-preserved mansions of Korean aristocrats.

There are also many restaurants where locals gather, so it might be a good idea to explore some delicious local Korean cuisine.

This station is on Lines 5 and 2, and is within walking distance of Seoul Station, making it a fairly convenient station.

Here's a gopchang (Korean offal) restaurant in Chungmuro.

It's a chain, but chain restaurants are always reliable, aren't they? 😂

When I go for gopchang with friends, I often look for this restaurant and drop by if it's nearby.♩

We ordered the gopchang platter.

This restaurant is known for its large rice cakes!

The appetizers were yukhoe and senmai, followed by raw liver.

I love raw meat and often go out to eat yukhoe or raw liver, so this was a very welcome appetizer. ♡

However, while raw meat is often served at hormone restaurants, please be careful to eat it immediately after it's served, as they handle fire nearby. I think it's dangerous to leave it on the table for too long.
(Also, if you have a sensitive stomach, I recommend eating at a popular Yukhoe restaurant (which can get busy).)
