Photo Frenzy at Kaifeng Prefecture

Who understands my obsession with taking photos at Kaifeng Prefecture? I rushed in as soon as the gates opened and started my exploration from the east side on the right, snapping pictures like crazy while the crowds were still sparse. The influx of visitors usually starts around 9 AM, with most heading straight to the main hall to see the bronze guillotine.
At Qingxin Tower, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire area. There's plenty of time to take in the scenery from this vantage point. ❤️
I skipped all the performances, so if you're interested in watching them, make sure to check the schedule and locations.
✨ I spent nearly three hours taking photos here. The nearby Yanqing Street, which includes partially constructed ancient-style buildings (Kaifeng Prefecture Phase II), is accessible and almost deserted. It's a perfect spot for taking portraits without worrying about crowds.
Yanqing Street itself is a snack and shopping street, so you can grab a bite if you're hungry. Additionally, the outermost Yingyue Tower offers a satisfying meal.
Getting around Kaifeng by taxi is affordable. During the day, I relied on taxis for transportation. Before leaving, I took one last look at Baogong Lake from afar, feeling utterly refreshed and at peace.
