As a travel blogger, I don’t like crowds.
So I have been looking for niche and comfortable travel destinations!
Today, I would like to recommend a treasure county in Zhejiang that is very suitable for a weekend self-driving trip.
-
📍Location: Kaihua, Quzhou, Zhejiang
-
✅The turquoise water of Jinma River is perfect for water play in summer
✅Beautiful scenery, many pristine ancient villages, but not many people
✅There are many delicious snacks in the county town, and the consumption is not high

I have collected some beautiful and interesting places I found in Kaihua these two days! Please keep this 3-day 2-night check-in guide 📕!

🚶 Tour route
Day 1️⃣: Xiashan Ancient Village-Xiayu Village
Day 2️⃣: Gengong Buddhist Kingdom - Yuantou Village - Taihuishan Observation Deck
Day 3️⃣: Gaotiankeng Village

🏞️Fun and interesting place
🍃Xiashan Ancient Village
My favorite is the Jinma Creek in front of the village and two very primitive wooden suspension bridges. The village still retains more than 300 Ming and Qing Dynasty Hui-style buildings.
-
🍃Xiayu Village
It is a great place to escape the summer heat and play in the water, and it is also one of the top ten beautiful villages in China! There is a greenway on the shore where you can take a walk, camp, kayak, or pedal boat, making it a great place for family outings.
-
🍃Gen Palace Buddhist Kingdom
It is a large 5A scenic spot with beautiful buildings and many root carving works of art. Suitable for strolling with the family.
-
🍃Taihuishan Observation Deck
The village is built on terraces. You can hike up the mountain or drive directly to the village. The scenery above is very open.
-
🍃Gaotiankeng Village
It is a very small ancient village with a long history and a simple and pristine appearance. The altitude here is more than 700 meters, surrounded by mountains, the scenery is great, the mountains are more refreshing, very suitable for summer vacation
