Gaotiankeng Village

Gaotiankeng Village is hidden deep in the mountains of Changhong Township, Kaihua County, Quzhou, Zhejiang. The village is located at an altitude of nearly 700 meters, surrounded by mountains and primitive ecology. The village is small, with ancient rammed earth yellow walls and black tile buildings that bear the vicissitudes of time. The Guanyin Corridor Bridge at the entrance of the village witnesses the long history of the village.

Gaotiankeng Village is also a natural dark sky area certified by the International Dark Sky Association and is known as the "Best Stargazing Place in East China."
On a clear night, the Milky Way is brilliant. There is a dark sky park planetarium, camping base, and a homestay cluster with the theme of "constellations" on the mountain, as well as supporting facilities such as cafes and starry sky bookstores. It is an ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle, get close to nature, and explore the starry sky.
