A transit through Kaili.

Kaili is home to one of the biggest ethnic Miao villages in China and, thankfully, it’s very accessible to visit.
A bus ride from the city centre, the ethnic village is located between the hills so there’s plenty of opportunities to get an aerial perspective.
Historic on the outside but still nice on the inside, many of the buildings have been converted for the tourist flock - whether it be bougie hotels, nice cafes or decent places to stop and get some snacks the visit should be fairly easy.
As with all of Guizhou, getting off the beaten track and exploring how deep into the alleyways you can get is always the best way forward.
