The official name is "Seated Amida Nyorai" and it is the principal image of Kotoku-in Temple. It is such a famous tourist spot that when you think of Kamakura, you think of the "Great Buddha of Kamakura". After entering the building, you can pay an additional 50 yen to enter the hollow interior of the Great Buddha, so you can enjoy the Great Buddha from the inside. It's a rare experience, so we highly recommend it.
