Kanagawa | How to walk around Kamakura

Introduction of places we visited on a day trip to Kamakura π“‚ƒπ“ˆ’π“‚‚π“Έ

β–«οΈŽ Kamakura Daibutsu
The Kamakura Daibutsu (Kotoku-in) is a symbol of Kamakura.
The 13-meter-tall Buddha was built around 1160!

β–«οΈŽ Choya, a plum experience specialty shop
Plum wine making workshop (reservations required). You can make your own plum wine while tasting different varieties of sake and plums. There is also a cafe on the premises.

β–«οΈŽ Yoridokoro
Eat egg-topped rice while watching the Enoshima Electric Railway. You have to whip the egg whites yourself to make them fluffy, but it's quite hard work! It's a truly luxurious meal. It's a popular shop, so you have to line up!

β–«οΈŽ KANNON CAFE
A cafe with delicious coffee and big Buddha-shaped cookies.

β–«οΈŽ Kamakura Tomoya
There are six different flavors of "Great Buddha-sama Yaki, which brings happiness." Each flavor has a meaning of good fortune. I like "Blueberry Cream Cheese"β™‘

β–«οΈŽ Surugaya Honpo
Suruga-ya Honpo is also located inside Enoshima Electric Railway Kamakura Station. You can eat Kamakura croquettes while waiting for the train.

β–«οΈŽ Tsurugaoka Hachimangu
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, the guardian deity of Kamakura. A historic shrine founded by Minamoto no Yoritomo.
