Hasedera Temple, an ancient Buddhist temple of the Jodo sect, has the largest gilded wooden statue of Kannon in Japan, located in Kamakura.
This temple is surrounded by a lush atmosphere of various trees. It is lush and green, and there is a pond that makes you feel cool. 🍃 Along the way to the temple, there are small statues. At the top, there is also a viewpoint where you can see the sea and Kamakura.
Kannon is enshrined in the Kannondo Hall, which is the main building of this temple. Throughout the day, people come to pay homage to Kannon to bring good fortune to themselves.
For those who come to visit the green train city of Kamakura, don't forget to stop by and pray to Kannon at Hasedera Temple. 🙏🏻😊
🚃 Hasedera Station
🎟️ You can buy tickets at the front of the temple.
