If you're in Tokyo and want to take photos with the bamboo forests of Kansai, there's a small bamboo garden at Hokokuji Temple near Kamakura. Those visiting the Great Buddha in Kamakura can stop by to take photos. It's about a 10-minute bus ride from Kamakura Station, and then a short walk to Jomyoji Station. You can stop by to take photos and enjoy some tea. However, don't expect too much. The garden is small, but it's beautiful. 😅
