Kamakura｜A famous shrine for praying for good fortune!

Features: Legend has it that if you wash money with the spring water of the shrine here, your money will increase. This is a very famous shrine for attracting wealth!

🚆Transportation (from Inamurazaki Station)
1. Take the Enoden from Inamurasaki Station back to Kamakura Station (approximately 10 minutes)
2. Walk to the shrine from the West Exit of Kamakura Station (about 20 minutes, with a slight slope on the way)
Or you can take a taxi (about 5 minutes, about 700 yen)

Tips: You will pass through residential areas, a short uphill section and a tunnel during the walk, so it is recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes. That tunnel is quite mysterious!

📝Personal experience
This shrine is really a different world. Before entering, you will pass through a tunnel that looks like a cave. Once you walk in, it feels like you have come to another space, with a wonderful sense of tranquility. Although it is a fortune-making shrine, the overall atmosphere is actually very quiet and peaceful, and it does not feel commercial.
When I was using the bamboo basket to wash the money, the sound of the spring water was flowing next to me. At that moment, I suddenly felt that no matter whether the money would increase or not, my heart seemed to be washed first. After laundering the money, the sun just happened to shine on the shrine garden. I felt that the magic of Kamakura lies in such details.
This is really the kind of place that will leave an impression on you once you visit it, no matter whether you believe it or not. I recommend you to try washing money yourself!
