Kamakura Travel Diary: Ugafuku Shrine and Sunset

Today's trip to Kamakura left me completely satisfied, especially the visit to Ugafuku Shrine, where I felt a divine blessing. The atmosphere of the shrine brought me an inexplicable peace. I tossed a coin onto the offering table, silently making a wish, hoping for the protection of Ugafuku.

Afterwards, I decided to try Kamakura's famous treat—the Great Buddha Cookie. This cookie is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a sweet and delicious filling that makes it hard to stop eating. Each bite releases an aroma and sweetness that seem to tell the history and culture of Kamakura.

At the end of the day, I returned to Kamakura Station. At sunset, the station became particularly lively, with many tourists gathered around, all waiting for their return trains. The sunset painted the sky in brilliant shades of orange and red, making the station's scenery look dreamlike.

Watching the sunset from the window, my mood grew even happier. Although the train car was crowded, the bustle brought a sense of warmth. I knew that today's trip to Kamakura would become a cherished memory, and I look forward to visiting this charming place again.
