🚗 Scenic Sunset Drive and Seaside Stroll: Enoshima and Mt. Fuji from Inamuragasaki

Inamuragasaki Park is a small park that's easy to stop by, whether you're just a short walk from Inamuragasaki Station on the Enoshima Electric Railway or driving along Route 134 along the coast.

We were blessed with beautiful weather that day, arriving just as the evening sky was slowly turning from pink to purple. The sound of the waves accompanied the serene atmosphere, and couples and photographers quietly gazed upon the scene through the fence.

Particularly striking were the silhouette of Enoshima floating in the distance and the faint image of Mt. Fuji. During the magic hour just before the sun sank below the horizon, voices of admiration rang out from the crowd. It's a spot that's sure to make you stop and take countless photos.

The park is also home to the Pacific War Memorial Statue, whose majestic form, as the sun set, seemed to blend seamlessly into the sky.

• 🚶♀️ For those who prefer walking: It's about a 5-minute walk from Inamuragasaki Station on the Enoshima Electric Railway. There are also traditional cafes and general stores around the station.
• 🚗 For those who prefer driving: The Shonan-Kamakura Route 134 route offers breathtaking views. There's also paid parking for several cars in front of the park, so we recommend stopping by at dusk.
