🌸 Tokyo → Kamakura & Enoshima One day

If you’re based in Tokyo and spot a cheap ticket, here’s how to make the most of one perfect day outside the city:

📍 Plan
Take the earliest train from Tokyo toward Kamakura, then transfer to the monorail toward Enoshima Island.

Enoshima is connected by a bridge; you’ll walk from the station to the island.

👀 What to Expect
If the skies are clear, you may see Mount Fuji from Enoshima’s observation spots or last station of monorail

You can stroll through old streets, enjoy views from each train station along the Enoden line (famous for cinematic scenes — schoolgirls waiting for trains, classic wooden platforms).
There are black-sand beaches, especially around Shichirigahama.

🍜 Food & Rest

Plenty of street food stalls on Enoshima and Kamakura. Try local seafood, snacks along the bridge and the island’s pedestrian streets.
Cute cafés with views along the beach or hidden inside streets — perfect for rest + photos.
💡 Tips

Leave very early: first train to catch serenity and light.
Bring cash: small shops may not accept cards.
Wear good shoes; lots of steps and walking.
If you have extra nights, use Kamakura or Enoshima as a base to explore nearby coastal towns.
