🏞️[Travel Route]
🔹Qudeng Nima Glacier is located in Gamba County, Shigatse, Tibet. Its full name is "Qudeng Nima Dorje," meaning "Diamond Sun Tower." There are three blue glacier routes, among which Glacier 58 near the China-India border is closed. The other two routes are open, namely the Western Sacred Lake and the Water Source, also known as Copper Lake and Jade Lake.
🔹Navigate to Qudeng Nima Glacier (about 1 hour's drive from Gamba County). After passing the border station, check the border pass and ID card (driving license and drone will be withheld) to pass (must exit before 18:00). After entering, the fork on the left leads to Jade Lake, and the right leads to Copper Lake.
🔹Drive to the end of the road in the direction of Copper Lake and start hiking. It takes about 2 km to reach the lake, and then continue along the lake for about 3 km to the glacier. The first half of the journey has a small climb, while the second half has almost no climb. The entire trip takes about 4 hours.

💁🏻‍♂️[Practical Information]
🔹It is recommended to enter in the morning for more time. In the afternoon, the light is not good, clouds are likely to form, which is not good for photography, and the wind is strong, the temperature drops, and altitude sickness is likely.
🔹For high-altitude hiking, be sure to keep warm and avoid altitude sickness. Evaluate your physical condition before going.
🔹If you go to the ice tower forest, be sure to bring crampons and trekking poles. There is a risk of collapse and falling in the ice tower forest, so be sure to pay attention to your safety.
🔹Decomposition is very slow in the plateau area, so be sure to leave no trace and take all your trash with you.
⚠️[Special Tips] Drones are prohibited. Be sure to bring a border pass.
