Kamikochi is a must-go place for climbers near Tokyo

#TokyoAttractions Last year I took the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Nagano Prefecture to visit Kamikochi, known as the "Hometown of God", the entrance to the Japanese Alps. For more than a century, this charming highland valley in the heart of Chubu Sangaku National Park has attracted climbers who want to challenge one of Japan's highest mountains.

At that time, we only hiked along the flat section where the Azusa River flows, and did not go up the mountain. I hope we will have the opportunity to go up the mountain again!
