This is Tonodake covered in snow. Tonodake, famous as a mountain for day hikes, is now covered in a world of silver. Once it becomes a snowy mountain, the difficulty and the equipment required change dramatically. Crampons and other anti-slip equipment are essential, as well as cold weather clothing. It's not an easy climb, but it's an extraordinary experience.
