Getting there: You can take a bus and stop at Hondamachi bus stop. From there you only need to walk about five minutes to reach the museum.

The D.T. Suzuki Museum is a simple yet elegant building—designed by architect Yoshio Taniguchi—coated with a neutral greyscale color scheme that enhances the vibrancy of the surrounding greenery.

Another feature of the museum is the Contemplative Space, consisting of a large room with openings on all four sides, which extends out into the Water Mirror Garden. 😌

Opening hours: 9.30am to 5pm daily

Admission fee: 310yen per person.
