It is located west of the mountain gate of the Yaowangshan Scenic Area and at the core of the east-west axis of the Yaowangshan Scenic Area. It will serve as an important window for the inheritance and display of the traditional Chinese medicine culture of Medicine King Sun Simiao, a tourist reception base and an important venue for the China Sun Simiao Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Festival.
The Sun Simiao Memorial Hall, a landmark building within the Yaowangshan Cultural Scenic Area, is located west of the scenic area's main gate and at the heart of its east-west axis. It will serve as a vital showcase for the preservation and display of Sun Simiao's Traditional Chinese Medicine culture, a tourist destination, and a key venue for the China Sun Simiao Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Festival. The project covers an area of approximately 45 mu (approximately 16 acres), with a total construction area of approximately 14,500 square meters. Construction is expected to take six months, with an estimated total investment of 120 million yuan. The project, nestled within the mountainside and taking full advantage of the terrain, features a terraced structure with two floors above ground and two floors below ground (both the underground and above-ground sections are connected to the planned road). The main ground-level hall, approximately 7,000 square meters, showcases the life and deeds of Sun Simiao, the Medicine King, his medical works and academic contributions, as well as the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine in my country. The underground section, approximately 7,500 square meters (including two ques), primarily provides tourism-related services.
