I went to Oyama Shrine in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Oyama Shrine is a historic shrine that enshrines the founder of the Kaga clan, Maeda Toshiie, and his wife Omatsu. The Shinmon Gate, which is rare nationwide and uses three architectural styles, Japanese, Chinese, and Western, is famous as a representative tourist spot in Kanazawa City. It is also designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan, and the beauty of the gear embedded in the top floor is particularly fascinating. It is also equipped with the oldest lightning rod in Japan. It is lit up from sunset to 10:00 p.m., and the way it emerges in the light is said to have a fantastic atmosphere. I couldn't see it this time. Next time, I'll be sure. It is located in a place that connects Kenrokuen and Kanazawa Castle to the Nagamachi samurai residences and the downtown area, so you can easily stop by during your sightseeing. #wintertrip #shrine #greatview #coupletrip #kanazawa #importantculturalproperty #kenrokuen #kanazawacastle #tripmemory2022
