The Bridge on the River Kwai

The Bridge on the River Kwai is a large bridge over the Kwai River with a semicircular steel structure, alternating with a truss structure and reinforced concrete piers. It is located in Tha Makham Subdistrict, Mueang Kanchanaburi District, Kanchanaburi Province, north of the city. It is currently used as a route for the Thonburi - Namtok Railway or the Death Railway. In the past, the weather was very hot when we went, but it was beautiful.
