The way to play in the scenic area is very simple. Take a sightseeing bus to the deepest Mugecuo Lake, and then go down one stop at a time, and get on the bus at the designated point of each scenic spot! The total scenic area is very large, and it is not reasonable to check in at every scenic spot. I suggest that you just play and take pictures at these 3 highlights!

Mugecuo
Also known as the Wild Man Sea, it looks like a blue sea in summer, and it slowly freezes in winter. I heard that you can see blue ice, but I didn’t see it this time! But I personally prefer the cabins here on Lover’s Beach. Taking pictures after the snow seems like being in Xinjiang!
Yam Pool Boiling Spring
There is a station here. My shoes were wet by the snow, so I just soaked my feet here. This is a natural hot spring. Soaking in the hot spring on a snowy day, enjoying the snow-capped mountains and streams, is comfortable and refreshing~
Seven-Colored Sea
The crescent-shaped lake really feels like Xinjiang when it snows. The lake is half frozen, and the trees on the mountain are piled with snow, which really looks like Christmas trees. It’s so beautiful! This is also the place where we stayed the longest. We quietly watched the snowflakes falling on the lake. The picture is really beautiful!

Friendly reminder:
Mugecuo is as high as 3,780 meters above sea level. Be sure to prevent altitude sickness and don’t run or jump.
Mugecuo is mainly for hiking. It is best to wear shoes that are convenient for hiking, such as hiking shoes/boots.
Be sure to check the weather forecast before coming, especially for those who want to chase snow. If the weather forecast says it will snow in Kangding, it will rain on the mountain 🌧️!! The scenery when it snows is really amazing~ If it doesn't snow, there is really nothing to see.
Although the evaluation of Mugecuo is controversial, some people think it is not worth it, and some people think it is beautiful! In summary, the weather is still the main reason!
