Mugecuo Scenic Area

Kangding Love Song (Mugecuo) Scenic Area is located in Yala Township, Kangding City, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, about 17 kilometers from Kangding City. It is a national 4A-level scenic area and a World Natural Heritage nomination site. The scenic area covers approximately 350 square kilometers and consists of attractions such as Rhododendron Gorge, Fragrant Grassland, and Seven-Color Lake. The core attraction, Mugecuo Lake, also known as Wildman Sea, is one of the larger alpine lakes in western Sichuan. There are also natural hot springs like the Medicinal Pool Boiling Spring, as well as landscapes including primeval forests, snow-capped mountains, and grasslands. Additionally, the scenic area is the birthplace of the "Kangding Love Song," filled with romantic charm.
