About the Four Girls Mountain routes
1️⃣ Easy hiking routes 🚶:
📍 Shuangqiao Valley (car tour + boardwalk): You can tour the entire route by car, family-friendly! Longzhu Lake and Siguna Lake are must-visit spots.
📍 Changping Valley - Muliaozi (12km one way): Take a car for the first half, then horseback ride or hike through the primeval forest, with meadows facing Mount Yaomei 🏔️.
Advanced challenge 💪:
📍 Haizi Valley to Chaoshanping: At the end of April, experience Tibetan culture at the Chaoshan Festival, hike to Dahai Lake surrounded by wildflowers 🌸, but no sightseeing vehicles, the whole route requires horseback riding or hiking, beginners beware.
(If you don’t have much time, just visiting Shuangqiao Valley is enough.)

⭕ Travel tips
▪️ Sit in the front right seat of the sightseeing bus for a wide view and easy photo opportunities 🚌.
▪️ No stops at Zhuganazuo in Shuangqiao Valley; after getting off at Potala Peak station, walk 1 km to reach it.
▪️ Bring your own snacks for easier energy replenishment; there are snack stalls at the Redwood Forest and Ginseng Fruit Meadow 🍽️.
⭕ Motion sickness + altitude sickness tips:
▫️ Take medicine in advance if prone to motion sickness; mountain roads can cause nausea.
▫️ Avoid washing hair or bathing (oxygen consumption can worsen altitude sickness); after 2-3 days of altitude adaptation, you can wash.
▫️ Bring oxygen bottles and altitude sickness medicine; if feeling unwell, descend immediately and use oxygen.
