The Majestic View of Takaya Shrine's Sky Torii

Located in Kanonji, "Takaya Shrine Main Hall" is known as the "Sky Torii" because its torii gate is built on a mountaintop. From there, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea and the cityscape 🌊.

🥾 A Small Hike for a Grand View
Although you need to hike up a mountain trail (driving is technically possible, but on the day we visited, there was an announcement prohibiting cars from going up), seeing the torii gate standing high in the sky is truly moving 🥹. The expansive view is postcard-perfect no matter how you capture it 📸.

💨 Strong Winds, but Totally Worth It
The wind is quite strong on the mountain, so be careful with your hat 🎐. It's recommended to visit during sunset or on clear days to witness the breathtaking scenery where the sea meets the sky!
