Let's go to Bulgwangsan Buddha Memorial Hall on this trip!!✈️
🛄ㅣBulgwangsan Buddha Memorial Hall🛕
Bulgwangsan Buddha Memorial Hall opened in 2011 and is a sacred place that houses the tooth relic of Sakyamuni. Seongun Daesa, the founder of Bulgwangsa, led the construction, and its purpose is to widely promote Buddhist culture and history.
The memorial hall is largely composed of Daeungbojeon, the main building, pagodas, and a giant Buddha statue. In particular, when you pass through the entrance, the eight pagodas and the magnificent Buddha statue standing tall in the center will overwhelm your eyes. This scene is the representative appearance of the Buddha Memorial Hall!!
As soon as I entered the Buddha Memorial Hall, I was overwhelmed by its scale. The eight pagodas lined up on both sides of the long road seemed to welcome me, and the giant Buddha statue seen from afar created a reverent atmosphere.😆
Inside the main building, there was a well-organized exhibition hall introducing Buddhist history and culture. Through various relics and media exhibitions, I was able to easily understand the teachings of Buddhism, and in particular, the space where the relics of Sakyamuni are enshrined was filled with a quiet and sacred atmosphere!
After touring the memorial hall, I spent some leisurely time drinking a cup of tea at the cafe in the temple. Looking at the temple in a quiet atmosphere made my heart feel even more peaceful.
This is a place I would like to recommend not only to those who are interested in Buddhism, but also to those who want to heal in a quiet atmosphere. If you are planning a trip to Taiwan, I recommend visiting the Buddha Memorial Hall of Buguang Temple!🫠
