Island charm: a two-day trip to Cijin Island and Taipei

Day 1:
During this trip, I specially arranged a day to go to Cijin Island to experience the island style of this port city of Kaohsiung. Early in the morning, I took the high-speed rail from Taipei to Kaohsiung, and after arriving, I took the light rail to Gushan Ferry Station and then took the ferry to Cijin Island. After just a few minutes' boat ride, you will be greeted by the fresh sea breeze and the leisurely atmosphere of the fishing port. After getting ashore, I first rented a bicycle and rode leisurely along the Cijin coastline. The first stop is the famous Cijin Lighthouse. This white lighthouse stands on a hill. From the top of the tower, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the entire bay and the busy scene of Kaohsiung Port.

After returning to Taipei, I decided to continue exploring the integration of nature and city. In the morning, I came to the Maokong Gondola and took the cable car all the way up. I looked out at the lush green mountains and the Taipei skyline, which was a refreshing sight. In the tea garden in the mountainous area of ​​Maokong, I tasted a pot of fragrant Baozhong tea and enjoyed a special meal with tea leaves added to the dishes, feeling the perfect combination of tea fragrance and food.
