Boarding the ferry from Gushan Ferry Station, it takes just a few minutes to reach Qijin. The salty sea breeze at the port instantly sets the mood for a vacation. The streets of Qijin are not wide, but they are lined with seafood restaurants and dessert shops. Grilled squid, fried cuttlefish balls, and mango shaved ice are must-try delicacies for visitors.
Walking along the coast to the Qijin Lighthouse, the view suddenly opens up. In the distance, cargo ships slowly sail into the harbor, blending seamlessly with the sea and sky, as if time itself has slowed down. At sunset, golden light spills over the sea, with fishing boats silhouetted against the horizon—this moment in Qijin is both serene and captivating.
