Today I went for a stroll through the Kaohsiung Cultural Center, exploring the nearby alleys for a brunch spot. I found a croissant shop (Bassotto Caffè), owned by two Italians. Brunch is served on the second floor. I ordered a rich breakfast (grilled Italian sausage, lasagna with beef, pistachio croissant, coffee latte, and elderflower sparkling drink). The pistachio croissant had a delicious aroma and texture. The sausage had a subtle vanilla flavor and was delicious. The spaghetti bolognese was delicious. I couldn't stop eating. I ate a double portion. The staff was young, friendly, and enthusiastic. It's a great brunch spot and I highly recommend it.
