The most beautiful restaurant and bar in Kaohsiung, located on the 11th floor of the Grand Hi-Lai Hotel (PAVO), is a must-try for food lovers.

PAVO, located on the 11th floor of the Grand Hi-Lai Hotel in Kaohsiung, is a beautiful restaurant and bar with a Southeast Asian colonial theme. True to its name, "Peacock," it exudes a noble, luxurious, and elegant atmosphere. It selects the finest ingredients and uses creative and trendy culinary techniques to present stunning international dishes. "Contemporary and classic," "Luxury and laid-back," and "Travel and Southeast Asian colonial style" are the hallmarks of PAVO. This diverse cultural collision gives the space and food a unique style, conveying the concept of travel to different countries through its cuisine. It also carefully selects local and seasonal Taiwanese ingredients to interpret the flavors of various countries. The staff are young, beautiful, enthusiastic, and have sweet, lovely smiles. We ordered PAVO (avocado salad), (onion soup), (satay chicken skewers), (slow-roasted bone-in American steak), (garlic cream blue diamond shrimp), and a glass of (Mojito) and a bottle of (San Pellegrino sparkling water!). It was a very sumptuous dinner, with excellent color, aroma, and taste. A fantastic restaurant and bar, highly recommended!
