Kawashima Tofu Shop in Nagasaki

The tofu dishes we enjoyed at Kawashima Tofu Shop in Nagasaki were all gentle in flavor and brought a comforting sense of deliciousness. The soy milk had a rich sweetness of soybeans, and the sautéed okara offered a simple yet profound taste. The sesame tofu was smooth and fragrant, while the zaru tofu had an impressively fluffy texture. The roasted atsuage, miso soup infused with dashi, and the mild uzumi tofu were all exquisite. Even the pickled vegetables were carefully prepared, showcasing the rich flavors of soybeans and the dedication of the artisans in every dish. This is truly a wonderful shop.
