[Nagano Prefecture] I tried to go to Shiraito Falls but couldn't make it.

Shiraito Falls is located in Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture. You can get there from either Toge no Chaya, located on the Shiraito Highland Way toll road in the direction of Mt. Asama, or from the Oze toll gate in the direction of Karuizawa. The toll is 500 yen no matter which way you enter.

This time, I entered from Toge no Chaya.

In fact, there is a parking lot along the road to Shiraito Falls. Moreover, it is very difficult to tell where you are, and the road is narrow, so it is almost impossible to make a U-turn once you pass it.

There are more parking options if you enter from Toge no Chaya, but the entrance is quite far away. I thought I could park closer, but I couldn't and failed.

If you enter from Oze, there are fewer parking spaces, so the chances of parking are lower.

Furthermore, it is 150 meters from the entrance to Shiraito Falls, so it is recommended that you wear comfortable shoes.

I have tried twice so far and failed, so please be careful when you visit.
