[Karuizawa] 7 recommended spots worth visiting!

𓇠✈︎ Karuizawa is just over an hour away from Tokyo by Shinkansen.

I've been there twice this year, once for an overnight trip and once for a day trip.

I've put together a list of the sightseeing spots and recommended cafes I visited during those times!

📍Bakery Restaurant Sawamura
If you get up early and take the Shinkansen, you'll arrive in no time, so start with breakfast here.

We had breakfast at the restaurant, but you can also take it out and enjoy it on the terrace.

📍Karuizawa New Art Museum
The chapel inside, designed by Kengo Kuma, was really beautiful. Reservations are required.

📍Kumoba Pond
You can walk around it in about 20 minutes. It's a recommended place to spend some time relaxing.

📍Cafe Lafine
A cafe with a really lovely moss garden. Be sure to try the terrace seats.

📍Twin Line Hotel Karuizawa
There are lots of cute twin rooms in the hotel
The hotel is easy to access, so it's perfect for walking around town
Spanish dinner and an original breakfast
The quality of the food is also great

📍Karuizawa Lake Garden
A wonderful place that you'll want to visit every time the season changes
The carefully maintained garden has plenty to see

📍Eleven Sisters Tea Rooms
You can enjoy fish & chips and scones, which are synonymous with the UK
It's located in the Lake Garden, but you can also just use the tea room◎
