Karuizawa 🇯🇵「Stone Church」A romantic and beautiful church that blends into nature

The full name of the Stone Church is "Stone Church - Uchimura Kenzo Memorial Hall"
Uchimura Kenzo's philosophy is that there is no church. As long as you have a pious heart, nature is the most suitable church.
In order to promote this concept, the subsequent designer Kendrick Kellogg inherited Uchimura Kenzo's idea and integrated the five basic elements of nature, namely stone, light, water, green and trees, into the design. The large arched structure combines glass light and shadow (female) with natural light beams shining on the rough stone walls (male), creating a stone church. The light and shadow inside the Stone Church, as well as the solemnity, are really hard to describe. Please feel it for yourself~
❕You are not allowed to take photos inside the church, so the last picture uses photos from the official website for everyone to appreciate the interior decoration.

🚘Transportation:
1️⃣Take the Hoshinoya Group shuttle bus at the south exit of Nakakaruizawa Station, arrive at the terminal, and walk to the Stone Church, which is about 13 minutes away.
2️⃣ It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to ride a bicycle from Karuizawa. Bicycles cannot be parked next to the church, but only at the entrance to the foot of the mountain. You can see the bicycle parking lot when you turn in from the intersection.

🕰️Opening hours:
Monday to Thursday 9:00-18:00, Friday weekends and holidays only open for one hour from 7:30-8:30 in the morning. Except for weddings
