One place we highly recommend in Karuizawa is Karuizawa Taliesin.

This leisure facility is located on a vast site that condenses the nature of Karuizawa, and is centered around Lake Shiozawa. It has a rose garden, an art museum, historical buildings, restaurants, shops, and amusement facilities.

"Taliesin" literally means "shining brow" in Welsh.

It is built around Lake Shiozawa, so you can take a leisurely stroll while looking at the lakeside. 🉑
