Shirakaba Forest Church by Kengo Kuma

During an autumn trip to Karuizawa, I unexpectedly discovered that Kengo Kuma's White Birch Church is hidden in the backyard of the old Karuizawa and New Art Museum!
The guided tour time is limited, and you need to make a reservation in advance at the counter on the first floor and pay a 500 yen tour fee. The tour lasts about 15-20 minutes. The guide is Japanese and you can join if you wish.
