Durbar Square, meaning palace square, is a public square near the center of power. It features temples and palaces. Three of Nepal's most important sites are World Heritage Sites.

Patan Durbar Square is home to several important temples,
such as the Krishna Mandir Temple, a temple complex with 21 shrines. The square is paved with red bricks dating back to ancient times. It also houses the Patan Museum, showcasing Nepalese religious art.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square is home to important medieval Nepalese architecture and history. Key attractions include the Nyatapola Temple, one of the largest and tallest stupas in Nepal.

It's also known as the "Museum of Temples" because there are over 50 temples within the square.

These three squares are located in separate cities, so you can plan your trip to them on the same day, as they're not too far from each other. Taxis are also readily available, as they're readily available in front of the squares.
