~Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture~ Introducing the Toki no Kane, the symbol of Kawagoe!

☑️ When you think of Kawagoe, this is the place to be!
The Toki no Kane is said to have been built in the early Edo period, during the time of the lord of Kawagoe Castle (1621-1634)!
It was rebuilt the year after the great fire of Kawagoe in 1893, and is about 16 meters tall.

☑️ One of the "100 Soundscapes of Japan" that we want to preserve!
Only the Toki no Kane remains, but there used to be a shrine called Yakushi Shrine.
Even now, you can visit the small torii gate inside the Toki no Kane!

☑️ It is said to be particularly effective for eye diseases.

The Inari Shrine in the back right is said to be extremely effective for career advancement, good fortune, and passing exams.
