Step Back in Time in Kawagoe – The Little Edo of Japan 🇯🇵

Spent a lovely day in Kawagoe, a charming town just outside Tokyo known as “Little Edo” for its well-preserved historical streets and Edo-period architecture. Walking through Kurazukuri Street felt like stepping into the past, with traditional clay-walled warehouses, sweet shops, and souvenir stores everywhere. The iconic Toki no Kane (Time Bell Tower) was a highlight, and the local street food like sweet potato snacks was delicious!
There was also Ghibli merch store, chopstick making workshop and japanese famous fluffy cake!
A peaceful, nostalgic escape from the busy city—definitely worth the visit.
We went there via bus took not longer than an hour and it was cheap. Just seeing those streets from the bus—the view was amazing. I knew right away this city was a charm! Definitely worth visiting!”
