🌿 Weekend Escape to Cirali 🌊

If you’re looking for a perfect weekend getaway near Antalya, the village of Cirali is a great choice! 🚖 The easiest way to get there is by taxi from Antalya (~1.5 hours).

📍 Day 1: relax and swim at Cirali’s wide beach with crystal-clear water 🏖️, check into a cozy hotel (I chose Garden Kamp Alani - with lemon tree inside), and in the evening don’t miss the magical sight of the “Fire of Prometheus” 🔥 (Yanartaş/Chimera) — eternal flames emerging straight from the rocks. The atmosphere is both mystical and mesmerizing! We got some marshmallows and burned them straight from the fire 🥹

📍 Day 2: spend the morning at the beach again 🌊, then after lunch take a short trip to the ancient city of Olympos 🏛️. The ruins are hidden among lush greenery, making it a beautiful and shady spot for a walk. In the evening, return to Antalya by taxi.

✨ Tips:
• Best time to visit: May–June or September — the sea is warm, but it’s not too hot.
• Costs: taxi round trip ~€60–80, hotels range from family guesthouses to boutique stays.
• Bring comfortable shoes for the evening hike to Chimera and carry water.
